Dio is cute.

Personal sock remover. He takes your socks off and places them next to your feet. Never touches your skin with his teeth and the socks aren’t harmed either. Best. Dog. Ever.

I’m happy to announce that we raised $1,000 for the San Diego Humane Society! Hopefully we can do it again next year.

We had two of Dio’s cousins with us. Managed to catch them all sleeping at once. Success!

Dio has this thing where he sleeps with his ear up against whatever he’s leaning on. I LOVE IT.

I think my dog has more of a social life than I do!

We went to Cowles Mountain this afternoon! Dio’s becoming stronger and stronger. He’s doing these hikes so easily now. Bud still has energy after he’s done! I love it!

We went to Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve. There is a little waterfall in the middle that was a nice midway point. Really easy hike but it was around ten miles long after we added in all the breakaways. Pup was covered in mud by the end of it. :)

Dio made it up Mt. Woodson. We started our hike around 7am so it was nice and cool. I don’t know how people do these hikes in the heat… or how they bring their poor pups with them when it’s hot out. Dio made it up and down totally fine but I would never bring him if it was any warmer. It can’t be good for him or his lil paws.

These photos were taken from Potato Chip Rock. He totally scaled a boulder that was at least  3-1/2 ft taller than him. I have no idea how he did it. He saw me on top and went out of his way to come up too. It scared the crap out of me because I thought he scraped his paws. He was totally fine! I’m still in shock he made it up. Next time I’m going to have my friends hold on to him and hand him to me when I’m on top of anything that high up. Don’t want his lil paws getting hurt. Considering this hike was over 7 miles long round trip… that is one strong dog! Don’t worry, we took TONS of water, snacks, and breaks. He slept for a few hours when we got home then brought his toy over to play fetch. He can handle it. :)

Got pup a Halloween toy. Also, he has been creeping me the hell out lately. I keep finding him staring at me for long periods of time for no reason. I caught him staring at me from the backyard the other day. He stayed like that for a good ten min. He doesn’t usually like to be in the sun either! Creepy dog!
